Merry Christmas!

I've been scarce around here for a couple of weeks and probably will be until after Christmas. I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! I hope you have a great time with your families. I'll leave you with a sweet little Christmas carol to enjoy. Turn up the volume, it's a good one!

  1. I just sat down to watch this video and I laughed 'til I cried! I called in Barry and we both laughed 'til we cried! I must add that our hysteria may come from some "experience"... oh, yes. Relatives, some not so distant, could have been at that family gathering somewhere in the background (and foreground)!

I wish you the most beautiful, blessed, happy Christmas Day. You are so very special to me and my family. It is like I've known you for a lifetime. You are beauty and wit and intellect and love all wrapped into a wonderful gift of life.

In our family, I always do Chistmas Eve dinner... and last night was beautiful. Each of our children and Barry's brother and Barry and I made our Flo recipes. I must admit that many times during the day I broke down in tears (and right now, for that matter), and at one point I asked Flo to send me a message that she was here with us. At that moment, the lyrics from O HOLY NIGHT came so peacefully to me from our IPod... "Hear the angels' voices"... and although I sobbed into Barry's arms, I felt such happiness and awe that she would send such a perfect message. We each had our moments last night, but with the grandchildren and the food and the celebration of life and love and the miracles of Christmas, we had a wonderful evening.

Today, Audrey is having a big Christmas dinner. Her in-laws are here from Pittsburgh... so we have a nice day ahead of us, too.

I will be thinking of you and your family today with the greatest joy and love to have you in our lives!

    Much love... and Merry Christmas!!
